Thermal Imaging

Thermal ImagingEslec provides a Thermal Imaging service to a wide range of industries. This proactive maintenance measure ensures that serious faults are identified before those faults cause substantial damage to equipment.

The Testing and Inspection provisions of AS/NZS3000:2007 Wiring Rules (Section 5 – Integrity of Switchboards) state “The temperature of switchboard components shall be measured and compared to the ambient temperature to ensure that there is no excessive rise in temperature”.

More and more business owners are required to provide thermal switchboard survey reports to insurance companies as part of their commercial premises fire risk assessment.

All inspection and verification procedures are backed up by a thermographic report which includes description, date, time, thermal image results summary and fault analysis. All thermography work is undertaken by an accredited Level 1 Thermographer.
